How We Do It

If you have viruses or spyware on your computer, we can remove them - and you don't even have to leave your home! We provide you with 3 convenient service options and you decide which one works best for you.

Here are your options and how they work:

>> 1 - We connect to you online

Simply go to our order page and set up a time for our service session. Then, when that time arrives, we will direct you to the connection page where you can click on a service link. This will automatically trigger a communication session with one of our technicians who will then be able to take over your PC remotely and begin cleaning up your computer.

(note: this process can take several hours so please make sure your PC will be available and not in use during this time)

>> 2 - You send us your hard drive*

You should use this option if your PC is unable to connect to the internet. This should only be done if you have the skills to remove and reinstall your hard drive. Also, make sure your hard drive is mailed in the proper type of container designed to ship sensitive electronics. Click here for an example of a proper container. If you desire, we can send you an empty container at cost + shipping.

(note: Virus Stompers is not responsible for any damage to your hard drive due to removal, reinstallation or shipping)

>> 3 - You send us your laptop*

Again, you should use this option if your laptop is unable to connect to the internet - and if you are not comfortable or able to remove your hard drive.

It is important that your computer is mailed in a container specifically designed for shipping fragile electronics. Click here or here for examples of proper containers. If you desire, we can send you an empty container at cost + shipping.

Things to Note

Computer problems may not always be due to viruses or spyware. While less common, problems can also be due to hardware, firmware or certain software.

Virus Not Found
Virus Stompers will perform a complete virus and spyware diagnostic scan of your computer. If no issues due to viruses are found, we will then attempt to determine the cause of your computer's problem and will notify of you of these results upon completion of our analysis. However, please remember that even though we may not have removed any viruses, we still have performed the service you requested.

25/25 Pricing
If we determine your computer does not have any viruses, we do not expect you to have to pay for virus removal. In this case, only $25 for the diagnostic service will be charged.

However, if viruses are detected, we will continue with the virus removal and the remaining $25 will then be charged as well.

In the event that we determine your computer is virus free but it is still malfunctioning, you should bring your computer to an authorized technician for repair.

Extreme Measures
Sometimes a virus is so invasive that the only way to remove it is to reinstall the operating system, or - in severe cases, to reformat the hard drive. Virus Stompers will never perform these steps without your complete consent. During a regular session, we do everything possible to leave your applications and data intact and will always ask you if we need to reformat or reinstall something.

Data Protection
If possible, it's always a good idea to backup your data before you order any service or repair. In the event that you will be sending us your hard drive or computer, we can backup your data for a small additional fee. See our order page for more information.

Availability
During a service session a technician may need to contact you for some reason. Please make sure you are available during this time either through email (on another device) or by phone.
